About Me

I’ve been playing drums since I was 10 and have been a professional drummer/percussionist for 17 years. I’ve been very fortunate to have recorded and performed with many great musicians in musical theatre shows, big bands, jazz, pop/funk, rock, functions and tribute bands all over the world. I’ve done sessions for some great jazz instrumentalists including Mark Nightingale and I recorded The Grand Majestic funk bands first album.

My current work has included Shane Hampsheir, Rat Pack Las Vegas Spectacular, Man in The Mirror (Jackson tribute), Beyond The Barricade, Grand MajesticAlter Eagles Tribute band, various shows and tours including High School Musical 1&2.

I was a serving member of HM Royal Marines Band Service from 1995-2004 and recorded, performed concerts and marched about with them as a percussionist.

I have written courses for the Brighton Institute of Modern Music and am writing a course for beginners with the Deep Pocket Drummers. I have also taught master classes for Scout Organisation, taught at schools in Surrey, West and East Sussex and privately. I also teach African drums to schools and other groups.
